FEAST FOR ALIENS "MOOD" Blog for Bean

I think mood is how you feel when you read a book, does it make you happy or sad? Does it make you want to laugh? I think all good storeys need a mood, I think the base of the story is black and white, and the mood is what gives it its color.

"Quotes" from the story
  1. "For Williams, whose step-parents had been mercilessly eaten on a bright, fall morning"
  2. "It was well known among the humans that the Aliens hated feet, so it was common to come home to see your family's feet in a big pile
  3. "Uncle Maynard began to pour out cups of tea, when the patriotic music on the T.V. suddenly halted and a deep voice came on"
  4. "As the fire burst upwards the explosion seem to grow, William felt enveloped by an astonishing kind of numbness"
"To think this was all over chicken pox"
"WHAT!?!"
"The aliens are suffering from, Chicken pox"
"Very, very deadly"

This is what each of the "quotes" made me think, The mood of each the quotes
  1. This gives me a sence of doom and sadness, but the background "Bright fall morning" gives me a sense of this is a big starter for the story like the author wants to make you think this is good
  2. This is again a sense of doom, but it sounds like the norm for humans at that time
  3. The deep voice makes him sound like he's about to say something life changing
  4. This makes everyone scared
  5. This again just begins back the randomness back to the story, A good ending or something else might happen again
